Detroit | Scott Sprague
Scott Sprague is a photographer, but equally important, he is an artist.
A native of Toledo, Ohio. Scott was fortunate to have been given a camera at an early age. Scott apprenticed under one of the area's leading fashion and commercial photographers. Scott's drive to excel would then take him on to Detroit, Michigan, where he would enroll at the Center for Creative Studies (CCS), widely regarded as one of the nation's elite Art and Design institutions. As a photography major, Scott systematically blended traditional methods of photography with his own artistic perspective, thus laying the foundation necessary to develop an individual style all his own.
After studying at CCS Scott created Scott Sprague Photography, headquartered in Detroit, Michigan. Scott stands as a trailblazing artist of the lens, who regularly accomplishes the difficult task in maintaining artistic integrity, while at the same time achieving commercial success. His artistic work has appeared in numerous exhibits and art shows, while his freelance photography has appeared in periodical publications such as: HOUR Detroit Magazine, CLEAR Magazine, Towne Magazine, The Metro Times, Real Detroit Weekly, Insight magazine and 313 Now Magazine.
Scott has been featured in Six Degree's Magazine. Scott's success also includes the commercial product field doing assignments for Pepsi Cola, FIGO salon, Shapes Boutique, Fantastic Sams, The Detroit Cats Calendar, Launch Showcase, Model & Talent Expo, Impact Dance, Dolce Moda, and Gallery of Birmingham. and Alexander Bongiorno, Creative Jeweler of Troy, just to name a few.
Scott's talents have him traveling around the world shooting for clients and agencies across the US, Canada, and Europe on a full time basis.
